Stephen began his career in Melbourne, Australia as a full-time operator in outside broadcast. After several years and with a yearning to expand his skills he moved into the freelance world before ending up in the Dubai For over 20 years he has worked as a freelance director of photography within the Middle East for networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, ABC America, PBS, Seven Network Australia, Bloomberg, among others. Besides his work in the UAE Stephen has been involved in productions across the GCC Region, including countries such as Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Within the greater MENA region he has worked in Libya, Turkey, Iraq, Sudan, Djibouti, Uganda, Egypt and Morocco
