Several times a week I am asked if I play piano. As a matter of fact, I do; I have played since i I was seven. Many, many tuners I have met over the past couple years do play piano. However, you don’t need to be a pianist in order to tune pianos ! Having a musical background can help, but it is not essential to performing this job.
