On 23rd August 2024, Saviors Global School organized an educational and interactive workshop on "Good Touch, Bad Touch" for students from Pre-Primary to Grade 2. The purpose of the workshop was to create awareness among young children about personal safety and help them understand the difference between safe and unsafe touches. The workshop began with a skit performed by the teachers, which was designed to convey the concepts of good touch and bad touch in a simple, age-appropriate manner. The skit involved characters that the children could relate to, such as a friendly teacher, caring parents, and a stranger. Through this enactment, the teacher illustrated various scenarios where the characters experienced different kinds of touches. Following the skit, the teacher engaged the students in an activity where different expressions were shown to convey feelings of comfort, discomfort, happiness, sadness, anger and fear. The teacher encouraged the children to recognize these expressions. Overall, the workshop was a success, leaving the students better informed and more confident about understanding and communicating their feelings regarding good and bad touches.  | |
