Don't be hasty to judge!

It seems this needs to be posted again and again in 2024 and beyond. It is very difficult to get a complete picture from a news source anywhere, especially off of the internet or on your phone; they only show you what they want you to see. In that regard, I know that I must be patient and not hasty to judge (remember the golden rule). I also try to get a more complete picture of events from elsewhere. In some cases we may never get a complete picture. There will come a day in which we all come to full knowledge (The true Christ’s return).

Proverbs 18:13 (KJV) He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

Matthew Henry commentary on this verse (written in the 1700’s but pertinent today, 2022+): See here how men often expose themselves by that very thing by which they hope to gain applause. 1. Some take a pride in being quick. They answer a matter before they hear it, hear it out, nay, as soon as they but hear of it. They think it is their honour to take up a cause suddenly; and, when they have heard one side, they think the matter so plain that they need not trouble themselves to hear the other; they are already apprized of it, and masters of all the merits of the cause. Whereas, though a ready wit is an agreeable thing to play with, it is solid judgment and sound wisdom that do business. 2. Those that take a pride in being quick commonly fall under the just reproach of being impertinent. It is folly for a man to go about to speak to a thing which he does not understand, or to pass sentence upon a matter which he is not truly and fully informed of, and has not patience to make a strict enquiry into; and, if it be folly, it is and will be shame.

My words follow: Many have done this very thing concerning all kinds of events from death to selling t-shirts. We do not have all the pertinent facts on these cases; someday we will have all the facts. Try to not make a decision about what actually happened until then. Some are using terrible incidents as an excuse for very bad behavior (riots, etc.) Also, remember the Jussie Smollett case in Chicago? The same thing happened in that case too. Some folks made up their minds before having all the facts. Will we humans ever learn? We will come to full knowledge one day in the future. See the following verses plus many others: Proverbs 13:20; Colossians 1:10; 1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Timothy 2:25 and 3:7.

“I never guess. It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.” Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

All lives matter to Him! He created us all.

Genesis 1:27 (KJV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

[God created all of us, male and female. By the way He didn’t create us confused about our gender; that is a fairly recent development straight from the author of confusion, Satan himself. God is not the author of confusion. He created us in His image; I guarantee you God is not confused about His gender]!

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Genesis 1:31 (KJV) And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Matthew 10:29 (KJV) Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Matthew 10:30 (KJV) But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:31 (KJV) Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Revelation 4:11 (KJV) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

[God made everything to include all humans and He says that everything He made is very good, valuable and for His pleasure; all lives matter to Him.]

Why then do some humans think and act otherwise? Is it a good thing to think and act contrary to God? The short answer is “no”!!! It is God’s opinion that matters most!

As said above, “It is very difficult to get a complete picture from a news source anywhere, especially off of the internet or on your phone; they only show you what they want you to see”. So, where do you find truth always and in whom can you trust? Also, what happens if you put your trust in another human? Read the following verses for your answer:

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (Gods word is truth not mans word).

Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
