Our Creator!

Our relationship with God our Creator!

Creator/created, Redeemer/redeemed, Almighty/dependent, Father/children, Maker/made, Supreme being/inferior being. We will never be more, He will never be less. How can a mere human change this relationship? A true Christian accepts the above terms of the created order.

If we choose to reject the above terms, we think higher of ourselves trying to make God conform to our human imaginations. We try to lower Him and elevate ourselves. See Romans 9:20-21.

We have a constant dependence on Him. We need Him. Temptation still exists, that's one reason why we need Him.

One never ceases being a child of his heavenly Father. How can a mere human cause this relationship to cease? A mere human can't.

Our relationship with our heavenly Father is completely dependent upon our willingness to be obedient to Him or to be disobedient to Him. It applies individually and collectively. When we truly love God, our love to Him will be manifested by our obedience. It will be plain and distinct between those who love God and keep His commandments, and those who do not love Him and disregard His laws and precepts.

We exist by His good pleasure and not by our own efforts or by chance as some believe. See Revelation 4:11.

Can you simultaneously please God and impress people? No way!
Your beliefs and actions are shaped by the audience to whom you play.
External choices reflect internal priorities. In other words, your actions speak louder than your words. See John 8:34 and Romans 8:7-8 [enmity = hatred]. If all you want to do is satisfy your fleshly desires, you'll not be pleasing to God.

Relationally, you can cease receiving and enjoying the benefits of being one of His children, if you so choose by denying His existence.

This is a question I would ask those that deny there is a God. What is the point or purpose of our lives if there is no afterlife, God or eternity? Many would say there is no purpose, we just are. My reply to that would be, I believe the purpose of this life is to prepare us for the afterlife, we have to make a choice in this life, we get what we choose, plain and simple.

One can deny Him [our Creator] if they so choose. But, does that denial mean He doesn't exist? Even those that deny Him receive His benefits, even when they choose to deny Him; they breath the air He created. I often wonder why they get so upset at any mention of God, when they choose to believe He doesn't exist in the first place? Doesn't make any sense. What exactly makes them so upset?

If you want to deny God exists, go ahead. Who does your denial affect? Not me or anyone else. It only affects you. Be careful what you ask for! Does your denial of God change Him? Think about that. [Romans 3:3 and Romans 9:20-21.]

He has an almost limitless amount of patience with us. It takes longer for some to come to there senses and repent, thus, His patience is evident. Again, see 2 Peter 3:9.

Our Creator created matter; He brought into existence the universe, the solar system, our earth, and all life upon it. God is a Spirit Being, dwelling in an entirely different dimension/realm than we humans.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

I truly hope this gets you to thinking about our relationship with God. Keep studying the Bible, so more of the knowledge and wisdom of God is revealed to you my friends.
