Which of us is right?

Most important question ever: Can man exist without God, our Creator? If someone denies He exists, that person is trying to live without God. People who believe in evolution as the answer to creation come to mind as some who try to live without God in the equation.

How you answer the question of God's existence will impact your relationship with others, your commitment to integrity, your attitude toward morality and your perception of truth. (Ravi Zacharias).

*Non-believers say when we die, we just die, it's over, there is no afterlife, no spirit, no eternal life, there is no God/Creator and we are not accountable for anything. Why do non-believers fight so hard against believers in God, when the non-believer says God doesn’t exist in the first place? Strange behavior for sure!!

*On the other hand, believers say that there is an afterlife, God does exist and we are accountable to Him. Which of us is right?

I would venture to say that only one of us will be right.

*If the unbeliever is right, everyone suffers the same fate and there is absolutely nothing you can do to change this.

*If the believer is right, then the unbeliever suffers a fate that is different than the believer. The reason I mention this is there will be no unbelievers in the eternity; they suffer the second death; that is to say those that continue in unbelief. See Revelation 21:8.

*The believer has accepted a free gift that changes what will happen to them after death of the flesh; they have accepted Christ's offer of salvation; they choose to believe and they attain eternal life in the spirit John 3:16 (KJV).

Some folks know this dilemma as Pascal's Wager; true. I really don't care what you call it. All humans must still make this choice whether they realize it or not; whether they acknowledge an afterlife or not. Which of these sound like the better choice? If you choose unbelief, you'll be eternally dead in either case. Doesn't sound like a smart choice to me. I would like to add, believers must truly believe; you can't con God. See Psalm 145:18 (KJV). The better choice is to choose true belief/eternal life. Study the Bible; start today. Find out for yourself. God tells us to choose life in more than one verse.
